here is the newest addition to our backyard. i got her (i'm not sure how i always have a gender for objects, but i do) for $5 at one of the best little antique stores just down the street from my house, stardust antiques. i had never been in before because the hours are so wonky, saturdays from 11-5 and sundays from 1-5...and thats it (great work schedule eh), but finally had a chance to stop by the other day when kelli was in town. we found a ton of great stuff for even better prices.
she was rusted and raggedy but after some sweet, tender lovin' and of course a few layers of glamorous golden spray paint, she's good as new again.
also, my friend maggie gave me this little owl planter for my birthday. its super groovy, there are three sides, each with the same owl face and the inside is painted bright yellow just to add a little more to its awesomeness. thanks mags!
