twas memorial day weekend, which means bbqs, beer and swimming.
Thursday i met some neighborhood girls for dinner at zelkos bistro and had some amazing fish tacos as well as amazing conversation with some really great girls.
Friday was date night with kyle (and lauren) to the most ghetto movie theater i have ever experienced to see hangover II. all in all it wasnt a bad movie, it could have been worse. definitely made me laugh. looking forward to seeing bridesmaids, whenever that will be (i'm looking at you lauren and kelly).
Saturday we saw William's last teeball game, too funny. serious, little people running around in baseball pants is the cutest thing i've ever seen. stella had a blast running around in the grass at the field. we went home for a little R&R, sadly kyle had to go to work, so stella and i watched a 5-hour marathon of sex in the city. i really do forget how good that show is after the horrible movies they made. then on to brad and michele's for beer and ufc fight (boys) and wine and dominos (girls).
Sunday - we headed to the san brandard river for some low key family time. stella went on her first boat ride and LOVED it (or at least i think she did, she fell almost immediately to sleep). saw some amazing river properties, so many porpoises (but i wasnt quick enough to catch them on camera), had a little pool time, relaxed and sun bathed.
Monday - got home late, put stella to bed, watched the killing...and it did NOT suck!! (finally)
