Pool time with Stella shari and Elliott.
Followed by a very interesting visit to Forever 37.
Send-off dinner with Richard...he left for Hawaii early Saturday, lucky bastard!! :) and of course had to go to 1308. We're going to el real next Mexican night if it kills me.
Saturday
Woke up around 6, Kyle was up-and-at-em and rented a saw and finished the driveway paving with the help of Hector before 10am (Woohoo)
Stella and I had some wagon time
Then we (Stella me and the wagon) micromanaged the boys as they paved.
Also, added chicken wire to the side of house to deter dogs from squeezing their giant bodies under the house and possibly ruining plumbing. Problem solved for about 5 minutes, but now they are seeking refuge on the other side of the house. Add chicken wire to other side of housr on next weeks to-do list.
Much needed Lunch at becks prime, California burger fully loaded, with fries of course.
Purchased the most adorable black and white striped romper for Stella.
Attempted to go out but opted for a low key night home, ordered "this guy" pizza...prosciutto feta mushroom and spinach...so good.
watched longest yard, then Almost rented blue Valentine but fell asleep instead. We really are so exciting these days.
Sunday
Another early morning.
Bagels sandwiches for breakfast courtesy of Kyle. Mmmmmmmm.
Long hot walk (it feels as if summer has happened overnight)
A long browsing session at central market. Stella enjoyed all the samples.
Caught the end of the art car parade.
Dinner of rotisserie chicken and caprese pasta.
Lots of play time and Ryan Adams.
It was a nice, slow paced weekend and for the first time in awhile I don't feel more exhausted after the weekend is over.
Again, I hope the killing doesn't suck again tonight.
