Welcome!

Weekend wrap up

Stella is learning to play. It's so funny watching her talk to her toys.

This weekend was busy but not busy all at the same time.

Friday we almost finished our pavers project.

More pool time for Stella and neighbor Elliott.

Then had too much Mexican food with a big group. Ended the night watching gigolos and giggling ourselves to sleep.

Woke up Saturday to a 3 hour power outage and after enhaling breakfast tacos decided today would be spring cleaning day. Cleaned up a sweat, including Windows and windowsills (indoor and out) and baseboards and all floors.

Ran errands with uncle Richard and found olives doppleganger as well as a pen-full of tired pups. Wanted to take a bingie-looking dog home with us named Martha but got the big veto from Kyle. Then stood around the parking lot of Target and watched police rescue a baby that was accidentally locked in a car. Cried upon seeing the mom grab her youngin from the car and laughed because Richard recognized the couple this happened to because he thought the dad was hot.

Ate burgers and sweet potato fries (and finished off keylime pie...*** thank you kevin and kelli!***).

Long walk.

Caprese salad with home grown basil. I have not yet killed it. Miracle.

Watched catfish. Was mislead into thinking it was a thriller when in fact is a Facebook stalker documentary which turned out really sad. actually made me really sad. countered sadness by watching seth meyers' speech at white house correspondence dinner. amazing.

More cleaning.

More long walks.

Hair dying experience, not as bad as previous attempts. But now slightly grey. Hmmm.

Astros game. finally winning...duh!

Bathed stinky dogs. only to have them run under the house and get muddy. figures.

Hung more wire for tangled wisteria. it will now have something to climb other than itself.

Dinner...crispy tofu, red pepper and mushrooms with ginger garlic siracha sauce. Avec quinoa. Delish.

White wine. Always too much (cant wait for you to get here ben!).

The killing....I'm about to give up. Fingers crossed tonight makes progress.
