JD Salinger passed away. i'm not alone in saying that catcher in the rye was the balls. i'll never forget the first time i read it in high school. our project for the book was to pick a song for the soundtrack for the book and explain why you chose that song and which scene it would play. we had some sweet ass teachers in my high school. of course i immediately go to elliott smith, playing during the carousel scene. i was a moodly little teenager.
