my brother just moved in to the most gigantic house in hyde park with 5 of his friends, which sounds like a lot of people, but believe me this place has more than enough room. they lucked out BIG time. i went to visit him a few weeks ago and his room looks so awesome! i've attached below some of my favorite items...

he found this little cabinet for a steal and hung it on his wall for camera storage. so. genius. (here is a better photo of the tea kettle to palm combo).
i was doubly impressed with the crazy wall colors in this house. each room is a different color and by no means did the owner care if it matched. ben's room is a deep hunter green which actually looks really pimp with the stained trim. coupled with the palm and other golden objects in the room, it gives off a hip retro feel.
all and all i was super jealous of their college living experience thus far. this house was super cool and with 2 living areas i'm sure will serve as an awesome party house as well.

i love the deer and peacock feathers atop his dresser, of course the exposed lighbulb action will go down as one of ben's signatures.
