we're still not entirely finished as the baseboards have yet to be installed, but here is where most of our blood and sweat have been going. it looks so much better, much improved. i cant believe this only took us 3 days, we bought the materials on sunday! thank god for snap together floors. so here's how it went
saturday night: pulled out the nasty carpet (yes we are losers and instead of being social like other twenty-something folks we stayed in and pulled up carpet. such is life)
sunday: bought materials and let them rest in the house for 24 hours
monday: began laying the floor after work, worked from about 7 - 11pm and knocked almost all of it out
