the other morning as i was getting ready i heard this tapping on my bedroom window, and since we sort of live in the ghetto i was obviously more than frightened. so i sneak to the side of the window and barely, just barely open the blinds and this little red face is staring back at me. a beautiful red, red cardinal was perched on our window sill attacking our Protection One decal (the man insists on having on every window). i guess Mr. Cardinal was attracted to the logo? anyway, he was so pretty and i ran to get my camera but alas when i returned he was gone.
well last night the little guy paid another visit to our house. he was sitting on the gorgeous (obviously kidding) telephone wire in the front yard. it was dusk so the lighting is weird and he was pretty high up but here is a little glimpse of the guy.
now if only i can capture the flying squirrel that patrols our backyard every night.
