i've decided i want to learn to sew. i never took a home ec class in school and mostly due to my tomboy-ness growing up i was never really interested in learning. now, thanks to my new found interest in decorating coupled with my ADD (i'm constantly changing everything), i feel it would be much more economical if i could sew my own throw pillows and window coverings. My Mawmaw lent me her sewing machine, but after reading the manual and basically feeling like this i think i need hands-on instruction. so i google, by the way i love the google so so much. i cant imagine life without it. anyway, as i was saying...the google lead me to a lovely studio called Sew CraftyAND its in the Heights, just down the street from my house! Its such a cute website with a great blog full of creative ideas and information on local arts and crafts. I can't wait to start the sewing bootcamp in May.
