Morrissey graced houston with his beauty this weekend and thankfully i was able to go. the man is so amazing. his voice is like melting butter on a warm biscuit. not to mention he has some of the best stage moves. i swear he could write a song about making pancakes and turn it into some beautiful, heart-wrenching melody. the fans were hilarious, there was one guy in the front row that was almost more entertaining than morrissey himself. he was ecstatic the whole time, arms in the air, clapping, dancing. towards the end of the concert people were rushing the stage like crazy. morrissey would get near them and shake hands and inevitably someone would jump up on stage and hug on him. from way up above it looked like popcorn popping. i've posted some pictures from the evening , we had super nosebleed seats, but thanks to zoom and a huge sailor the pictures didnt come out too shabby.
